Safety and risks

Crypto is not a savings account. Coindivo does a lot to prevent mistakes and surprises, but part of your safety is up to you.

How your wallets are kept

The keys of your Coindivo wallets are stored encrypted, so the platform can trade for you. You can always export your key and use the wallet yourself. Money only moves between your own wallets or to an address you enter.

What you do yourself

  • Never share your password or private key, not even with someone claiming to be from Coindivo.
  • Always check the network when depositing and withdrawing; coins sent over the wrong network are gone.
  • Start small and practise with practice money first.
  • Use the Check before selling a coin with little trading.

Risks

More on the Risks page.

  • Prices can fall hard; you can lose (part of) your stake.
  • A stop loss can fill below the stop price in a fast market.
  • Coins with little trading often sell below the market price.
  • New tokens can be scams (rug pulls, honeypots). Read the guide on scam tokens.
  • Past results predict nothing.
